The Sanicompact is a self-contained toilet with a macerating system, that only uses 1 gal. per flush, making it ideal for small, tight-fitting applications, such as a clothes closet in a bedroom or under the stairs. Often chosen as a bedroom toilet for the elderly or handicapped.

The discharge pipe of the Sanicompact is 1 inch in diameter, the pump operates at 7 PSI and pumps the effluent upwards to 9 feet and/or 100 feet horizontally. The discharge pipe-work may be made with either copper or solvent welded plastic material, provided that a consistent gravity fall of 2% is maintained throughout the run.

This modern shaped self-contained SaniCompact toilet is especially designed with several ideas in mind:

for situations where there is not enough space
as a toilet that uses a minimum amount of water
as a toilet for use with people that have physical limitations.

The flushing mechanism on the SaniCompact is electrically timed to allow approximately 4 liters (1.1 USG) of water to pass through the toilet.

The Sanicompact has no external water tank as the flushing mechanism is built in and is totally electric. After use, one presses a pneumatic button on top of the bowl, this activates a timer and a solenoid valve in order to fill and wash the sides of the bowl. The motor starts and the waste and paper are sucked inside, where it is macerated and pumped away. The motor stops after approximately 15 seconds and the timer programs the refill of the bowl with fresh water.

At the soil-stack end of the pipe run the small-bore pipe-work must be connected to the waste by means of an appropriate TY fitting. Electrical supply to the Sanicompact is 120V, 15 Amp. The system should be connected to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter circuit.

The Sanicompact is a self contained toilet with the macerator pump and an electrical activated flushing action built inside the unit. That is why the Sanicompact can be installed in very small places. It is very water efficient, using just 4 litres (1.1 gallon) of water per flush. The Sanicompact does not depend on gravity, it can be used where large diameter pipe cannot be used.
